Laser Hair Removal

It delivers very fast and effective results, with no downtime. Laser and other energy-based hair removal requires multiple treatments because hair grows in different phases. Hair can take 6-12 weeks for it to grow from root to surface-this growth stage is known as the anagen stage and this is the perfect time to receive laser hair removal. You know when you’re due for your next treatment session when hair in the treated area begins to grow back. It is very important to stick with the treatment schedule that your practitioners suggests-missing a treatment could allow your hair enter the next stage where hair begins to detach from the hair follicle which can increase the number of treatments originally required. The total number of treatments varies based on the area treated. Typically, 6-8 treatments spaced 6-10 weeks apart is recommended.

If you are planning on undergoing Laser Hair Removal, you should limit plucking, waxing, and electrolysis for at least 4 weeks prior to your treatment. That’s because the laser targets the hair’s roots, which are temporarily removed by waxing or plucking.

You should also avoid sun exposure for at least 4 weeks before and after the treatment. Sun exposure makes laser hair removal less effective and makes complications after the treatment more likely. You should not receive this service if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a history of herpes simplex virus in the area you’d like to be treated. If you have taken Accutane in the last 6 month, please let us know, as Laser hair removal may not be suitable for you.

Vein Therapy

At Nova Aesthetic Center we use a laser that treats a broad range of vessels from tiny spider veins to deep blue reticular veins quickly, safely, and effectively. You can experience results with dark, light, or tanned skin. The laser delivers pulses of light energy which cause the blood within the vein to coagulate, eventually killing the vessel which is later reabsorbed by your body. Your blood flow will then be redirected to veins deeper below your skin’s surface. There is no required downtown post treatment and very little discomfort. Most patients may find that one or two treatments are sufficient. However, the number of treatments depends on the color, size and number of the vessels being treated.

Laser Genesis

LASER GENESIS is a non-invasive skin procedure that stimulates new skin cell growth and collagen production, which smoothes fine lines; shrinks pore size; evens out rough skin texture and fades scarring. This amazing laser procedure also closes down the tiny veins and capillaries that cause persistent redness of the skin. Laser Genesis a gentle, relaxing, and virtually painless procedure with zero downtime. As a result, you can expect to resume your daily activities immediately after your treatment. The best results require 4 to 6 treatments, once every 4 weeks.

Brown Spot Removal

Brown spot and age spot removal is often quite easy to perform with lasers and gives a relatively long-term improvement. Most patients are thrilled when they see their result-removing brown spots on the the face, neck, chest, arms, legs and/or hands immediately imparts a younger, more youthful appearance to the skin and takes away that prematurely aged appearance. Laser is most commonly used to effectively target dark concentrations of melanin such as brown age spots, freckles and other pigmented lesions. The treatment will leave a small scab where the spot was and will disappear in 1-2 weeks. Brown spots may require a few treatments for removal but patients often see dramatic changes after their first treatment session.
